Selected Storm Reports for Yukon, Oklahoma

A dated storm report can help frame the timing question after rough weather. The roof itself still needs assessment to establish what has failed.

What this selected record collection shows

The selected records include reported hail diameters, an estimated thunderstorm gust and broader winter-weather conditions. The year groups below retain the date and geographic scope of each record, with the source reporting units beside any stated magnitude.

This is a selected report reference, not a complete 1950-2026 storm archive or a count of damaged roofs. The 2026 annual file used here ends July 31; later events and revisions are outside this selection.

Selected NOAA storm records by year

Hail sizes are reported diameters in inches. Wind remains in knots, with the reporting basis shown. A missing magnitude stays unknown. Open a year to see the dated records and links to the retained NOAA annual source files.

7 selected official reports, from 2022-02-23 through 2026-05-08: 1 thunderstorm wind record; 4 hail records; 2 winter storm records. Geographic scope is shown with each record.

Point reports and forecast-zone reports

A reported begin point

A coordinate falling within today’s Yukon boundary places that reported point inside the current comparison area. It does not draw the full storm track, reproduce the boundary on the event date or show which roofs were affected.

A broader forecast-zone record

A winter-weather record can describe conditions across a zone that intersects Yukon. It is broader context. A snowfall amount mentioned near another community should not become a measurement at a Yukon address.

Storm records and the roof inspection

If a leak appeared after rough weather, the timing is useful. The next question is where water enters and whether the covering, flashing or a penetration has been damaged. Earlier repairs and other roof history can also matter.

A record cannot establish the cause of every mark. Inspection findings, the property’s history and the event evidence need to be considered together. A hail report nearby is not an automatic replacement or insurance decision.

For water entering now, use the urgent roof-leak guidance. The storm-damage service explains assessment, temporary protection and permanent repair choices.

Storm report FAQs

Do these records prove my roof was damaged?

No. They describe reported events and their geographic scope. An individual roof needs its own condition assessment.

Why is wind shown in knots rather than a rounded speed?

Knots are the unit in the source field. The estimated or measured reporting basis remains attached, rather than being hidden by a conversion.

Why does an older winter report appear beside 2026 records?

The page contains a selected set of relevant records, grouped by year. It is not limited to the latest storm season and does not claim every event is included.
